I own the Arctic Carhartt for the cold cold New England winters and that coat keeps me toasty warm and dry.

I have this coat and use it for Fall, early winter, early spring, it’s a durable coat, roomy, don’t feel restrained in it, plenty of freedom to wear a hoodie then put the coat on, definitely want to layer, especially during New England winters! Like I said don’t feel boxed in when wearing this type of carhartt coat, and it is warm with the buttons and nice pockets, and an inside pocket that comes in handy. Wish Carhartt offered more colors, but oh well. I recommend this type of coat because it is at a reasonable price, American Made, will not wear out any time soon, come in good use for years, and keeps you warm!

The item is a great product at a reasonable, but not outstanding price. I was unable to find it locally. I ordered a “tall” by error. I believe the size selection chart was not clear. Rather than delay any more (it was a drop shipment from an indirect source), I had the sleeves altered locally. This added some more to the cost.

I have never had an article of clothing as durable as Carhart produces. You do pay a bit more, but you get what you pay for like we all have heard for years. There are cheaper imitations out there, but they are just that imitations and most a sad imitation, buy these products and they will last for years with regular use or even hard use, I know some pipeliners and that is the only thing that will hold up to there job requirements.

I bought the Chore coat and coveralls for working outside on Cape Cod in February. The average temperature was around 20 degrees F during the day with plenty of wind. My duties required working outside 8 hrs per day standing behind a drill rig – the coat and coveralls kept me warm day after day for the 3 weeks I was there.
